Camera it, clear it, camera it again.
A sewer camera finds the blockage, a jetting machine or roto machine clears it, then the camera runs again to prove the line is actually clear. Emergency drain work goes through the same on-call line as everything else.
Why the second camera pass is the whole point
A drain that flows again is not the same thing as a drain that is clear. Roots, grease, a collapsed section, a bellied pipe that never drains fully, they all look different on a camera, and guessing which one you are dealing with is how the same drain gets cleared twice in one year. We run the camera before anything gets touched, and we run it again after, so the job ends on what the line actually looks like rather than on whether water is moving through it at the moment we leave.
How we tell a main line from a single fixture
If one sink or one tub is slow, that is usually the branch line feeding it. If every drain in the house slows down at once, or the washing machine backs something up two rooms over, that points to the main line, and that is where the camera goes first.

Camera down the line
Before anything gets cleared, we look. Roots, grease, a collapsed section, a bellied pipe that holds water, they all read differently on the same camera run, and what we see decides what happens next.
Jetting machine or roto machine
A roto machine cuts a hole through a blockage. A jetter uses high pressure water to strip the inside of the pipe back to bare wall, grease included. We pick whichever one the camera says the line actually needs.
Camera down the line again
Flowing again and actually clear are two different claims. The second pass is how we tell the difference, and it is the step most guesswork skips entirely.
